These opening verses of Surah Al-An‘am highlight the Oneness of Allah through the signs of creation and His complete governance of the universe. Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth, made darkness and light, and gave life and death. Yet, despite these clear proofs, many still deny the truth and ascribe partners to Him.
The verses expose the contradiction of the polytheists: they recognize Allah as the Creator, but they refuse to worship Him alone. Allah reminds us that He is fully aware of all that people conceal and reveal, and that every soul will be judged with perfect justice.
For seekers of truth, these verses are a powerful call to reflect on the universe and recognize that all signs point to one reality — there is no god but Allah.
