But it <strong>rejects the idea<\/strong> that he is God, the son of God, or part of a Trinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Qur\u2019an says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>\u00abIndeed, they have disbelieved who say, &#8216;Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary.'\u00bb<\/em><br>(Qur\u2019an 5:72)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This belief, though held by many Christians with sincerity, is seen in Islam as a <strong>misguidance<\/strong> from the original message of Jesus: to worship Allah alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Believers<\/strong> are those who accept the truth when it comes\u2014whether from among Muslims or the People of the Book (Jews and Christians).<br>They are called to return to the pure monotheism preached by all prophets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\ud83c\udf1f Islam invites all people to re-examine their beliefs in light of the Qur\u2019an:<br>One God. One message.
