A whole chapter \u2014 <em>Surah Maryam<\/em> \u2014 is named after her. She was chosen and purified by Allah, and her devotion was sincere and constant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">By the command of Allah, <strong>Mary conceived Jesus miraculously, without any human touch<\/strong>. When she questioned how this could be, she was told:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>\u00abIt is easy for Me,\u00bb said your Lord.<\/strong><br>(Surah Maryam 19:21)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Jesus (Isa)<\/strong> was born as a <strong>sign for humanity<\/strong>. He spoke from the cradle to defend his mother and declare his mission:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>\u00abIndeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.\u00bb<\/strong><br>(Surah Maryam 19:30)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Throughout his life, Jesus performed many miracles \u2014 but always <strong>by Allah\u2019s permission<\/strong>. He never claimed to be the son of God.
