The Agreement of the Prophets in Their Call to Monotheism

The Qur’an teaches that all prophets, from Noah to Moses, from Abraham to Jesus, and finally Muhammad (peace be upon them all), were united in one mission: to call humanity to worship only One God. They differed in laws and times, but their core message was the same—pure monotheism.

In Surah al-Nisā’ (4:163–175), Allah affirms that He revealed guidance to all prophets, giving them scriptures and wisdom to lead their nations. The passage makes clear that Jesus (ʿĪsā, peace be upon him) was a prophet and servant of God, not the “son of God.” The Qur’an strongly warns Christians against exaggerating his status or associating partners with Allah.

Allah invites everyone to believe in Him alone, to follow His messengers, and to avoid shirk (associating partners with God). Those who accept faith in Allah and His prophets will find light, mercy, and eternal salvation.

Thus, Islam presents itself not as a new faith, but as the final confirmation of the same truth taught by all prophets: “Worship Allah alone, without partners.”
