In these verses from Surah Az-Zumar, Allah paints a powerful picture of the Day of Judgment. The trumpet will be blown, and all creation will fall in awe before Him. Life as we know it will end, and then — by Allah’s command — it will begin again.
On that Day, all people will stand before the Creator. Justice will be established, and every soul will see the truth of its deeds. For some, the outcome will be eternal peace in Paradise, where Allah’s mercy embraces them. For others, it will be punishment in Hell, the result of turning away from the truth.
The Qur’an describes the scene of the believers entering Paradise with joy, while the disbelievers face regret. At the end, the angels will surround the Throne of Allah, praising Him, and final judgment will be pronounced: “All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.”
These verses remind us that this life is only a journey toward two final destinies. The choice we make today — to submit to Allah or to reject Him — determines where we stand on that Day.
