In Surah al-Mā’idah (5:36–37), Allah warns of the severe fate awaiting those who rebel against Him, reject His guidance, and spread corruption in the land. Even if such people were to offer all that is in the earth to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Hereafter, it would never be accepted from them.

Instead, they will face a torment of fire, with no escape and no relief. Their suffering will not be lightened, nor will they be granted respite.

These verses remind humanity that disbelief and corruption are not without consequence. True safety lies only in faith, obedience to Allah, and striving for righteousness in this world before meeting Him in the next.
