The Virtue of Knowledge and Scholars, the Reward of the Believers, and the Punishment of the Disbelievers

In Islam, seeking knowledge is a noble act. Scholars are honored because they teach the truth and guide others.

“Say, Are those who know equal to those who do not know?”
(Qur’an 39:9)

Believers who follow the truth and act righteously will be rewarded with eternal Paradise.

“Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] for them is forgiveness and a great reward.”
(Qur’an 5:9)

But those who reject the truth and persist in disbelief will face punishment in the Hereafter.

“Indeed, those who disbelieve will be companions of the Fire.”
(Qur’an 2:39)

In Islam, knowledge leads to faith — and faith leads to salvation.
