Refuting Those Who Attribute a Child to Allah and Responding to Their Claims

“He neither begets nor is born.”
(Surah Al-Ikhlas, 112:3)
To attribute a child to Allah is to compare the Creator to His creation — something completely against His perfection and majesty. Allah is not in need of a partner, a helper, or a family. He is One, Eternal, and Self-Sufficient.
The claim that Allah has a son is found in other religious traditions, but it is based on misunderstanding or metaphorical speech taken literally. In Islam, such beliefs are not only incorrect but also contradict the pure concept of monotheism.
“It is not fitting for the Most Merciful to have a son.”
(Surah Maryam, 19:92)
If Allah had a son, He would be like humans. But He is unlike anything:
“There is nothing like unto Him.”
(Surah Ash-Shura, 42:11)
Islam invites all to pure belief in One God — without partners, without children, without equals. This is the true message of all prophets, from Adam to Jesus to Muhammad (peace be upon them all).
